Bought a Globe prepaid call card worth P250 via my bank's online facility last October 30, 2008. Attempted to reload it immediately through 223. Entered the card number and PIN. Voice prompt said "The service is temporarily unavailable." Tough luck. I said it must just be temporary. Waited a few hours and tried again. Same thing. Service temporarily unavailable. Waited a few hours more. WTF! Still TEMPORARILY unavailable.
Called 211 for help. Many times. No help. Couldn't help. Besides, how could I get help if my call gets cut off after every 6 minutes and 19 seconds. Is that the trend in customer assistance?
Tried reloading many more times on Thursday. Tried to seek help from 211 again yesterday. Still, 223 told me service was temporarily unavailable. And the brains of 211 agents, it seemed, are still indefinitely unavailable, too. They wouldn't let me speak with a supervisor either. Their supervisors are all engaged in a call. No one bothered to call me either.
Tried reloading again many more times TODAY. You guessed it. Still temporarily unavailable.
Is anyone experiencing the same predicament? I mean, with 223 reloading AND with 211 ineptness? Would love to hear your story. I'm starting to think that Globe--after my having been a loyal subscriber for 10 years--has decided to let me try another mobile network by forbidding me from reloading my account.
