are you sure that this is the model of your intel motherboard? G865GSA? because normally, intel boards start with "D" kindly check again. Go to intel.com and search for the model. When I searched, there were no results. Normally, 775 sockets I observed, already can take up to 2G's of RAM but speed is limited to 667mhz up to 800mhz. There is nothing wrong if you test it, nothing will be damage if you try using 2G's of RAM then try to see if both rams are read. Be sure you are using same brand and model of RAMs, sometime, intel doesn't read them.

i'm guessing dili ka support ang imo board ug 2GB. considering DDR pa ang imo board, mga uber-priced board ra sauna ang maka kaya ug ana na capacity sa RAM. check your manufacturer's site to be sure.

consult your manual, i think it should since its pentium D

i think ang 128mb is sa videocard na nimo. naa na siya self check bro so kung medyo dako imo RAM like 2GB medyo madugay na siya gamay og mahuman og check... sa sulod sa windows ra na mumatter ang dako na RAM... try running a photoshop cs on a 512mb and compare it with 2GB... pero kung word ra og excel imo application then perting sobraha ra sa imo 2GB...

time to POST naturally increases in the increase of RAM capacity. kay i check gud na sa system kung ok ba ang full 2048MB. in booting windows, boot time is mostly dependent on the HDD.

    cheers
