Cars being turned into taxis lower its image..Are filipinos too image conscious?

yeah we pinoys are image conscious. one should not label the car brand cheap or low end or degrade it for being turned to taxis..in fact we should be reassured by this fact because it means the car brand is durable(w/ proper care of course)..d basta2 himo.on ang any car into a taxi..it must withstand exterme wear and tear labi na dri sa Pinas kay grabe maka drive ang mga taxi drivers dri..hehehe..soooo if we are going to look down on car brands that are being used as taxis then we should include Mercedes, BMW and Ford cars cause these are used as taxis as well..hahahahaha!!

Mao jud labi na kanang Kia Pride dili jud mosakay. But me I don't mind unsay make & model as long as moabot ko sa akong destination safely, and maayo ang driver dili tikasan. I have this experience before sa Ayala nag line ko for taxi with my bf then naay family nag-una namo. I think the parents were in their mid 30s with one child (a preschooler). After pagsakay sa nag-una nila sa line, kakita sila nga Kia Pride ang next taxi, gipa-una jud mi nila ug sakay sa akong bf so kami ang nakasakay sa Kia. Ako wala koy problema kay dili baya ko mamili, naglagot lang ko sa thought nga pili-an ra kaau sila. Makapili man jud ang tao bah kung mo magpara ug taxi sa dalan pero when waiting in line sa taxi lane? Obvious ra kaau. Then what if pilian sad ang next in line nila? Di pud siya mosakay sa Kia Pride? Mao na dinha. Sad but true mao jud na ang mentality sa mga pinoy though not all pero ang uban ma influence ra man sad gud anang thought nga walay class if this particular make and model sa car is made into taxis or mawala pud ilang class kung baratohon ang taxi ilang sakyan. Though I understand that each individual has the right to choose pero mao lang nah, this is just my reaction to those nga maglinya sa taxi lane sa malls then mamili pa jud ug taxi nga sakyan hilasan ra ko sa uban kay magpaclass2x kunohay.

thats also 1 of the reason na nka push thru sa honda dri sa pinas. nindot ila market study and marketing nila. uban pod tao mu ingun hilas ang honda because of that and some people mao pud basihan na honda ila sakyanan mas sosyal.

for me i dont really mind, pero kung ang uban di sila ganahan so be it... di man ta kabuot buot sa ila hehehe

anyway kung d ka ganahan nga himuon taxi imo car, ayaw nalang palit ana... if toyota cars are used as taxi's here then pag honda or mitsubishi nalang mo

yah., agree ko ani., namay uban taxi gud.,aircon ta baho lng jud kaayu., hugaw pkaayu ug sud., nya mura nag skeleton ang sud.,atleast unta ila na i-mentain ang ila unit., pra dli degrading ug dagway., we pay high prices to them gud., nya mabutang nuon nga mas comportable pa musakai ug PUJ, , but for me if wel mentained lang ang taxi unit, so la juy reason i-degrade., masuya gani ko sa ubang taxi mas ngindut pag dagan kaysa akong sakyanan.,

mostly taxi drivers doesnt mentained their units well... compare the taxis from others countries to phil taxis

that's why when we hear the word "taxi", what enters our minds are old rusty "branded" cars.. so we would definitely go "eww"..
