The teachings of Eli Soriano as posted by rcruman is misguided and outright wrong. As I have mentioned early on, omnipresence is not just merely being able to be in different locations at the same time since God is not space or time bounded.
But for the sake of discussion, let's examine the "God is not everywhere" teaching of Eli Soriano. He argues that God cannot be present in places deemed evil/sinful such as casinos, sabungan etc. But the Bible recounts many instances where God was present in those places.
1) Den of Robbers. Matt 21:12 describes how the temple was described by Jesus as a "den of robbers." Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. 13 “It is written,” he said to them, “ ‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’a but you are making it a ‘den of robbers.’
2) Places of Gambling. Matthew 27: 35, “The soldiers nailed Jesus to a cross and gambled to see who would get his clothes.”
3. Even in hell. Psalm 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
The above are just a few Biblical examples that God can in fact be everywhere whenever he chooses to. But that is not the essence of omnipresence.
Omnipresence is an attribute of God that is eternal and not physical, and therefore not limited by time or space. (Psalm 139:7-10; Proverbs 15:3; Jeremiah 23:23,24). He is at all times present in all spaces whether God-created or man-made. This means that the infinity of God in His whole being is present at every point of our space or universe and beyond that no matter how big the universe we conceive it to be, it is however infinitesimally minute/small to contain his presence.
