Filming has began last July and hopefully will be release next year. The said film is to be based on Deborah Curtis (Ian's wife ) book Touching From A Distance ( the said title of the book is a line taken from a Joy Division song called "Transmission" ). It will be directed by Antoni Corbin ( i don't knwo if I got the spelling right ) who has directed videos from Depeche Mode,U2 and Nirvana. Ambot....kani si Ian Curtis got invovled in an extramarital affair with a Belgian journalist who wanted to interview them.hehehe.Same route as Jim Morrisson of The Doors. He also had seizures due to epilepsy. That's why maglibog ang mga fans nila if he was dancing or he was having an attack. These events most likely lead him to hang himself before they were scheduled to tour america.

MOST LOVED JOY DIVISION SONGS ( IN NO PARTICUALR ORDER OF KURS )

DIGITAL - the last song ian performed infront of an audience. basta the bass lines did it for me of course si peter hook nagud na.do i have to say the words and the voice also? enough said!!!!!

ATMOSPHERE - i never had a clue that this song had a video until i saw 24 hour party people.murag bag-o ra tingali ni nahimo mga late 80's. if ever i will die then this definetely will be my funeral song to kill all whimpy funeral songs.

CEREMONY - the first and the last time that joy division played this song as a complete unit. anyways...this gained popularity cuz new order use it.again metronome-like drumming from stephen morris. dah! nana gyud ko'y nagamit nga word for the style of drumming niya.

THE ETERNAL - i listened to some death metal/doom metal albums before but placing this song side by side will really pale all the the extreme nature. basta...pasensya na bald...i know you use to listen to a lot of metal stuff but like Carlos D. of Interpol his musical taste just got better...it's more of the total delivery.
    love will tear us apart

mao jud nakabutang sa epitaph ni ian...

not just joy division or new order, please consider the other side project of the members: Bernard Sumner for ELECTRONIC, Peter Hook for MONACO, Stephen Morris and Gillian for THE OTHER TWO, these bands sound like New Order. You can relate to where they came from.

the best ang electronic bro kay it's a collaboration of the 4 great brands previous member, Bernard Sumner (Joy Division, New Order), Neil Tennant (Pet Shop Boys) & Johnny Marr (The Smiths),

i was the one who bought the other two & monaco from depechebox, if this is the guy the one you referring to.
