I don't think time travel is possible.

If for example you want to travel back in time. for example exactly a year ago.
You have to to duplicate all the conditions during that time, including temperature.
But since the universe is getting hotter and hotter.
then it is impossible to lower the temperature of the universe back to (let us say) a year before.
This is due to entropy.
Entropy is an extensive state function that accounts for the effects of irreversibility in thermodynamic systems.
