Pop is a term used by insect hobbyist to indicate the birth of youngs of their scorpions (especially scorpions or any other insect that is ooviviparous....meaning that which develops an egg but hatches inside the female's body and comes out as live youngs) Instar on the other hand is the insect in between molts. The first instar being that between hatching time and the first molting. Hope this helps....
