Sa tanan MGS games, I have played MGS1 ra jud sa ps1 years ago kay na busy naman ko pag skwela nako nursing, nihunong nako play ug mga RPGs. My brother played MGS 2-4. Tan-aw ra ko para makasabot ko sa story then ako nalang ang tig search sa walkthroughs kay usahay ma stuck man siya at certain points.

For me, MGS4 is the best in the series. Overall, it's exceptional - sa gameplay, graphics, character development, and lastly what I like most about it is the gripping story - though tag-as ang cut scenes, dili man pud siya boring tan-awon, it's like watching a movie. Anyway, MGS is story driven and MGS4 being the final installment, you wouldn't want to skip those cut scenes (especially the Raiden VS Vamp part). IMO, it's one of the best games this year and possibly one of the greatest games of all time.

no doubt MGS4 is the best in all MGS series. MGS was the best game ever made in PS1. every magazine said that MGS wins the title of the best PS1 game so Hideo Kojima wont let his fans down.

na tiwas nko ang Metal Gear. but wala nko natiwas ang Snake's revenge kay mejo lisod. hehehe. uhmm... who's Col. Vermon CaTaffy? sa akong nabasahan sa storyline sa Snake's Revenge, c Frank Jaeger aka Gray Fox daw ang leader sa Outer Heaven then ang twist sa story is mo final battle pa mo ni BigBoss kay apparently, cya jud ang tinuod nga leader whom they though he died already sa Metal Gear.... but i could be wrong kay like i said.. wala ko kaduwa ug Snake's Revenge.

VERMON CaTAFFY, TERRORIST AT LARGE
Colonel Vermon CaTaffy, a once tranquil shepard boy, who grew up on the
remote banks of the Sam Sam River in outer Mongolia with his 27 sisters,
turned to terrorism at an early age.
Now after years of pillaging innocent people, he has taken control of
outer heaven, a small naton on the outskirts of Southe Africa. Here he is
sole tyrant and radial dictator. He rules with bullets and bombs, and in
only in a few months he has outlawed democracy and turned harmless villagers
into mercenaries for a global terrorist network.
But his biggest threat is yet to come. For, as an obsessed madman, he
has created the Ultimate Super Weapon. It's CaTaffy's greatest dream and
the world's most hideous nightmare.
It's called Metal Gear. And it must be destroyed before the crazed
Colonel unleashes his violence across the globe.

After the Les Enfants Terribles Project, Big Boss began to feud with his fellow members of The Patriots, which would eventually cause him, along with Ocelot and EVA, to leave the group. Frustrated with the direction that Zero was taking the group, Boss left America before finally settling in South Africa. Here, Big Boss had established the mercenary company Outer Heaven, and through it, aimed to create a world where a soldier would not be used as a pawn of their government. Here, a soldier would always have a place, be it in the battlefield or in society in general. He was also carrying a black project of his own in Metal Gear TX-55, a bipedal tank, developed from blueprints acquired from Aleksandr Leonovitch Granin in 1964, capable of launching a nuclear strike from anywhere on the planet.

It would not be revealed until 2014 that Big Boss' Outer Heaven was simply a way for him to offer soldiers and citizens life that was uncontrolled by The Patriots, and the Metal Gear TX-55 would be used to ensure that they never interfered with his vision. However, the world was unaware of The Patriots power and plans, and thus viewed Big Boss as a traitor and terrorist, much like The Boss before him.

Operation Intrude N313
200km north of the country of Galzburg, South Africa, laid the fortress of Outer Heaven, a heavily fortified state that had been founded by a legendary mercenary in the late 1980s. In 1995, the western world had received intelligence that warned of a weapon of mass destruction that was supposedly being constructed deep within the fortress of Outer Heaven. The government called in the high-tech Special Forces unit FOXHOUND, commanded by the legendary soldier Big Boss, to infiltrate the fortress, and ordered them to send in an agent to assess the situation and neutralize whatever threat the weapon posed to the western world. In a mission known as "Operation: Intrude N312," FOXHOUND operative Gray Fox infiltrated the Outer Heaven stronghold. Days later, contact with Gray Fox was lost; his final transmission consisted only of two words: "METAL GEAR..."

Rookie Foxhound operative Solid Snake, was ordered by Big Boss to perform a follow up mission in order to rescue Gray Fox, and father intel on Outer Heaven and find the meaning behind "Metal Gear". His purpose for sending the rookie Snake to Outer Heaven was to gather false information. However, Big Boss miscalculated. He never thought that Snake would make it far... (from metalgear.wikia.com)

through the money that was secretly funded by the 3 nations during world war II, USA,China, and Soviet Union. It came to be known as the Philosopher's Legacy. Naked Snake(big boss) obtained it after killing Colonel Volgin and The Boss.

And for some other reason, the other members of the Patriots did not follow the ideals of The Boss anymore, which was influenced by all of them. that's why Big Boss left along with EVA and Ocelot to form Outer Heaven.
