Honestly, I am not even thinking about people getting offended. I have been there being a "IGNOY" sa computer when I was 4 years old. I admit maulaw pud ko sa akong mga computer misconceptions sauna pero at least I knew what is wrong and what is right. I did not make this thread para i-humiliate ang mga tawo, its for us to diagnose the worst computer facts ever. Laugh or not, we learn something new. If you guys think that this thread is humiliating those people, better keep it for yourselves because we aint interested.

well, the internet always has a place for sarcasm(this is what we're doing now) and anonymity(just remember to keep the names of your experiences in secret).

not to rain on everyone's parade pero i'm not enjoying the humor on this thread.

'mura baya ta ug wala moagi ana nga stage, in my opinion i'd rather educate them than make fun or tell other people about their demise. kung kamo, ganahan ba mo istoryaan sa store nga naa niadto nag pa sweto-sweto unya wala diay nipalit?

I used to teach in a computer department in one of the universities here. Way back 1996, di pa kaayo exposed ang mga tawo sa computer, nya naa pay dagko nga floppy drives. Inig insert sa 5 1/2" disk, i-lock pa ang drive door.

I gave my class an instruction to insert their diskette in the drive and lock the door. They diligently followed but afterwards, everyone was looking around. Well, the first girl in the very first seat got up, and religiously locked the door literally. I asked her why. She said she was following instructions and she happens to be nearest to the door. That was my first good laugh.

In another class, I was teaching the students how to use a Mac single button mouse, how it should be held etc. I noticed this 30 something woman got stiff and scooped her left hand beside the table. I asked her "what are you doing?"

She didn't reply. Then I was about to assist her, when she screamed "Hala ser, matagak ang mouse! Matagak! Wa nay lamesa!"

I wasn't able to help her. I went out and burst out laughing as hard as I could.

I was looking for a HEC, Silverstone or any branded power supply at one time... was in SM, and i tried going inside TechHead (duol Cd-r king)..I asked one of their techies.

I asked him "Bai, naa moy Branded na power supply baligya dri?".
He answered "yes.." immediately points me towards the Dynamo Pro Power supply...
I told him "dli bai, kanang Branded power supply bah.."
He replied "branded lagi, sir.. Dynamo iya Brand."

I just act as if I didn't hear that one..and said "ah..okay". Gawas ko dritso oi..lol
