Aw hinuan, at least naas Palawan ug Tanon Strait. Maau na lang kaysa wala.
Ang problema ana ang ecosystem duols mga oil rigs kai madaot gyud na.

Bisan pa ug dunay oil ang Tanon nga maingon ta nga commercial value, pero wa dyapon mahitabo ana kay pwerting daghana sa mga sirado ug pangutok nya kontrabidang dagko.

Bisag pag naay oil diha brod..ang madatu samot ana ang foreign companies rapud nga nag extract sa oil..Ang ma kwarta sa gobyerno ana ang royaty fess and texas ra gyud. Unlike sa ubang countries Venezuela for one has their own state run oil companies. Originally Posted by cottonmouth

lets just hope that our government/politicians do not mess this up. hoping na this good news will have trickle down effect in terms of benefit up to the masses...dili lang taman ra sa mga bulsa sa atong mga politicians!

I hope, there is an agreement with the Philippine Gov't and the majority shareholder that the oil supply will only for the Philippines and not for export. I am also glad that the foreign company is the one operating it and not the Philippine Gov't since we have graft and corruption issues.
