It depends on the creativity of the band....Cannibal Corpse release a new DVD this year and silay usa sa pioneering sa death metal and util now wla pa sila nwla, they remained underground and MUdvayne is not Death metal...NU Metal na sila and they have a new album will be release this month. If you think metal is dead think again!

Bro, wa ko niingon metal is dead. i'm also a metal fan. i know cannibal corpse is the pioneer of death metal. like u said, they remained underground...i see no progress there. pila ra man ang kita if underground? u see, they're not on top in the rock scene. if ur not on top, gamay ra pud money mosulod sa inyong bulsa. Ug icompare nimu sa metallica, scorpions, quiet riot, or other metal band that is not 'death', although and metallica naa silay bagong album ron, but u can still hear their classic songs playing on the radio. same with scorpions, quiet riot, and other non death metal band...its very seldom or never at all a death metal song played on the radio...that's another weakness of death metal...peace bro.
