I think the D300 or D700 was tested by an american stormchaser before it was officially launched. He said that the camera overcame shock, rain and mud... lots of them, and still functioned just as good.

gnahan ko sa canon since this is my 1st dslr and sa features, but what i like about the nikon is ang colors, kita jud ko sa difference between the two, even for the d40, nindot og result sa colors.

it still depends on the end-user's preference, especially if the person was already accustomed to the user interface of such brand then there's a strong possibility that the next upgrade would of the same brand... no brand is perfect, it's up to u how u can maximize its full potential in taking snapshots...
