reward was $100k. it was a 12,978,189 digits (at around 15mb text file)

the next reward is for the 100million digits at $150,000

Bai, All you have to do is find a 100million digit that is a prime number (Mersenne's prime number must be in 2^x-1.

for the fastest computer today, running at 24hours/day it will take roughly 3 years to verify that the number you are guessing is a prime number and around 40watts per hour sa computer.

and at least 500+years plus just to test for a billion-th digit.

To see this we observe that there are 49 possibilities for the first number drawn, following which there are 48 possibilities for the second number, 47 for the third, 46 for the fourth, 45 for the fifth, and 44 for the sixth.
