Resulta na ni nasobrahan sa testosterone. Men start wars. They enjoy it. They think it's some sort of competition. Our male world leaders are constantly trying to one-up each other. It is typical male behavior, of course. Except they're playing with grown-up toys that can blow up the whole world.

If women were made world leaders, we'd have book clubs, knitting parties and makeup socials. It will be a safer and a much prettier world.

We've had women rulers. They weren't much different.

There have been ineffective women leaders, I concur (but only because they listen to their male political advisers). But I have yet to see a female Adolf Hitler. I hope I never, ever do.

Not quite. Margaret Thatcher would be happy to lay the smackdown on pretty much anyone who irks her. Staring down the Soviets is pretty crazy imo, lol.

Yet your post was about men trying to one up each other with big toys ... which is what women would do were they in the same position. There was one Hitler, there are billions of men. One does not reflect all nor does the absence of a powerful woman in a leadership position mean they are incapable of doing the same exact things as men. If Hillary Clinton became President, do you really think the US would fold up it's military and start knitting? I do not see why you even brought this up as a male issue when it is a human nature issue.

Speaking of male political advisors *cough*Imelda*cough*. Please spare us with your anti-male rhetoric. It is both off topic and groundless.

---Speaking of male political advisors *cough*Imelda*cough*. Please spare us with your anti-male rhetoric. It is both off topic and groundless.---

Oh, really? Let me count the ways, Vern.

---Yet your post was about men trying to one up each other with big toys ... which is what women would do were they in the same position.---

You seem so sure of that, Vern. Do you have evidence then? My statement, at least, is supported by proof. Men do like showing each other up. World leaders are no different. That's because they're men, of course. And since women will never get to play with big toys (nuclear bombs, chemical & biological weapons), you will never know for sure if women will act in the same manner when presented with the opportunity...will you, Vern?

---There was one Hitler, there are billions of men.---

Hitler is just one example. I don't know with you, but the despots that have made their mark on the world were and are all male. As far as I know. Feel free to correct me.

---nor does the absence of a powerful woman in a leadership position mean they are incapable of doing the same exact things as men.---

That point of view is moot. Because I could always say, "vice versa". Will we or won't we? We'll need to elect women world leaders to find out for sure.

--If Hillary Clinton became President, do you really think the US would fold up it's military and start knitting?---

Of course not! She will probably introduce a military knitting program. It helps with stress, you know. But I doubt she'll take up arms and throw missiles at Canada. The fact that she didn't cut off Bill's ***** after the Monica debacle assures me of that.

---I do not see why you even brought this up as a male issue when it is a human nature issue.---

It is kinda funny that you so readily acknowledge the "human nature" issue of things and so conveniently forget that the most violent human world leaders the world has ever known were and are all male. Their being human is significant yet their being male is irrelevant? Never overlook anything, my dear Watson.

---Speaking of male political advisors *cough*Imelda*cough*. Please spare us with your anti-male rhetoric. It is both off topic and groundless.---

Why is it that women outnumber men three to one and yet an overwhelming majority of the world's criminals are men? If you have the answer to that, I am dying to know.

When I wrote what I wrote, Vern, it was not so much an anti-male tirade as it was an anti-testosterone declaration. After all, women do have testosterone too. It's just that men have too much of it. Surely you would agree that the link between testosterone and aggression is well-documented. Violent women in fact, when tested, showed higher-than-normal levels of that blasted hormone.

Now let's go back to that "off-topic" and "groundless" thing you mentioned. As long as our world leaders continue to be crazy and MALE, I will always be of the conviction that they need to be chemically castrated. And I will always hope that someday women would rule the land, because I know deep in my heart, that when women disagree...the worst-case scenario is a dragout bitchfight in the mud, with curlers, weaves and fake eyelashes flying in the air. When all is said and done, all a female needs is a late-night ice cream binge to soothe her ego.

It was not my intention to ruffle your feathers, Vern. I am a slave to estrogen (hormone defense, anyone?). Now, let's go back to our regular programming, WMDs.

    Peace!
