Abi ninyo, ang testimony sa captain is very important sa case pro mas daku ang iya atubangon if buhi cya kay cya man ang #1 una managot sa nahitabo, 2nd lang ang sulpicio mao if buhi man cya tapos dili cya isog atubangon ug ayaw nya mapriso for lifetime syempre magtago jud cya ug pabor pod sa sulpicio, pero, but, if, tinuod na patay cya, syempre wala sa ato ang nakahibalo, besides tao parin cya, pwede mamatay, only god knows, dili paman pod end sa case! Naa pa man ang management para managot kaya lang depende sa takbo sa case! pwede malusutan pwde pod dili!

What we can do is just pray for the dead and hope na makarecover ang mga survivors! tapos managot ang dapat pa na managot! let just count this trajedy as one of the many sa mga nahitabo karon sa ato community! beside walay gusto na mahitabo kani!

Why blame? kay kung puro nalang blame wala man gihapon mahitabo sa case!

Wishful thinking but seeing Capt. Marimon alive seems to be a very distant possibility. But personally, I don't need Capt. Marimon to bring down SLI. SLI has cost more than 5000 lives so far, that alone will tell about their reputation.

If that is the case .... why is SLI still operating right now ? Do you have any ideas what happened to the skippers prior to MARIMON also involved in the last 3 tragedies ? Hehehe .... enough is enough baga . But without the SKIPPER , weak ang issues against SLI .

Actually DNA is not needed , what is needed is that they better have a strong cover of the loophole . Its not even ASERO no PALOS fantasies , its more of a SKIPPER who went to war without no bullets .

I could realy care less bisan parente pa mo ni MARIMON , actually di ba kaila ra man diay pod mo ? Bottomline is , he is INCOMPETENT and IRRESPONSIBLE knowing the capabilities of mother nature when it strikes bisan gi tuok na siya sa mga SLI to still sail and make millions if not billions .

..i understand your sentiment coz you're friends with the captain or anything like that. But point is, his experience alone will save him, physical endurance is not a factor with captains.

Just FYI, if bagyo gani bai nya dagko kaayo ang bawd, bisan unsa paka kamaayong laki molangoy og pagkaraan sa dagat, di jud na magsilbi if physically hinay naka.. Ang bunal lng daan sa bawd enough na to knock you out.. Naa pajud lain factor, hypothermia..

.. limot sad ka bay na kung bagyo gani, kusog ang balod... AYAW UG LARGA .... that's what the captain failed to realize. And no matter how much the captain proved himself prior to that accident, point is - one mistake is fatal when it comes to sea-faring. Don't be blinded with the truth just because you're sort-of-a-friend with the captain.

That's indeed my point, enough is enough. The captain maybe can give a testament but 4 is more than too much. SLI's last 3 mishaps were all caused by sailing during violent weather conditions. The captain is just another piece of the puzzle and the investigation can still look at different angles. Well, I guess I myself is tired of relying on our very own justice system. 5000 lives lost yet SLI is still allowed to operate to sail their sailing coffins.

the thread was just asking for opinions whether the captain is still alive or dead, so i guess there's no need to say that he's incompetent and all because we were not there when the tragedy happened.

Actually if he was COMPETENT enough , there would be no TRAGEDY at all . Bisan pa if it takes the SLI camp to grill his ass for not following orders kintahay because all they want is just moolah , kung ang tao kahibalo unsay SAKTO ug SAYOP ug naay BARUGANAN , BARUGAN na niya .

People tend to rely on information based on what they ahve READ and HEARD . We are talking here of his conditions , kung DEAD or ALIVE ba gyud siya .
