Why build a Toyota in Michigan and sell it to the Philippines ? Why build a MItsu in Thailand and sell to the UK ?

Really ? Then why dont you see much of entry level cars from the MITSU and NISSAN carmakers namely the LANCER and SENTRA respectively ? Because of pricing right ? Because it is not TRIED and TESTED or to make it short TORTURE TESTED to last longer in the hands of the ABUSIVE DRIVERS and KILLER ROADS in the Philippines ?

Pajero is durable.... why else would there be a lot of surplus pajeros running... reliable and durable.... VALUE for money.... the demand is still there....

Sultihan tika ... I dont know about you but I know personally about 6 to 8 people who are into the BUY and SELL BUSINESS here in Cebu , not acquaintances but kaila , 2 gani kumpare pa . The very reason why PAJERO clicks here in Cebu ( I cant speak for other places ) are :

- Its CHEAP
- Runs on DIESEL
- Runs like a truck , rides like a car ( good for family use )
- Spare parts are all over the place , it doesnt mean DURABLE siya but when maintenance time comes , dali ra maayo.


Now if you are talking about FIELDMASTERS , that would be a different story since they are LOCAL UNITS .

Again if you have problems with PRICING.. go ASK TOYOTA.. they are CHARGING PREMIUM for CHEAP components.....

Bisan naa pa na siyay MP3/4 , BLUETOOTH and etc but the manufacturers are JVC and KENWOOD , it is good for nothing and in short its TRASH . unsaon... you pay 200,000 more for almost ALL CHEAP components and probably just Air...... 200,000 more for durability and cheap standard equipment....

I'll take that 200,000 and the montero ANYTIME....

Local cars here carry the same badge it doesn't mean the refineness is the same as with US cars.....

Both 2009 models ? If that is the case .... then you can buy your MONTERO and use your 200K to upgrade your supposed to be beefed up CAR AUDIO SYSTEM with a real CAR AUDIO SYSTEM .
