How do I fix a broken hard disk?

Thos assholes from PC Express gave me a damaged 500 GB hard disk. When I boot sa BIOS, "Hard Disk Error" muagawas, pero madetect sya sa Windows. Pero la pa na "Initialized", when I try to initialize, mu.I/O error. Anyways, any software that can fix a disk with bad sectors? And I cant return it coz I'm not from Cebu. Waaaa

wala d i nimo napa test daan brad? pa test nalang unta to nimo lau bya ka. try nalang pa freight brad, if under direct replacement pa na ma replace.san man ka ana dayon. basta wala lang physical damage.

y can u say na minus point? its not there fault, u can't assure the item u purchased is in good condition even f its new. we can't avoid some factory defects. maayu man ug ang PCX ang naggama ana.
ok, lets jst say na ur not from cebu so imu gyd na ipatest una kay wala ta ka assure na in good condition na.. managana nlang ka na ipatest nimu..

ma sayop sa PCX or dili minus gyapon na.. ikaw nakapalit ana ganahan pa diay ka mo palit balik sa PCX bisag kbaw ka nga dli ila sayop? and lets say niingon mga taga PCX nga na test na ni nila since dili man ni taga cebu ang nagpalit..

aww sa PCX gihapon ko palit oi, after all i understand their warranty terms and condition.. kung guba man gani ila nahatag nako, ako gud pa warrantihan..

d man pud guro mo ingon nga na test nila bisag ala pa. ky ako if mo palit ko pa test nako sa ko atubangan man nila i test ang item. den d sad ta ka ingon nga guba na daan. basig pag dala2 na sa ato brad na bundak2.. let's just not come into conclusion kung ala ta kabalo sa situation.

Uhh, 2 yrs ago. Got a MoBo with a broken temperature sensor so I get keep seeing too high temps. 1 yr ago, bought a high end-pc. They insisted ok ra tong Generic, blew up the PSU and the MoBo and had to go back a total of 3 more times for the item to be fixed. 6 months ago, my GeForce 8 vide card naguba, had to comeback 2 times. >_>
