I think the blogger may have a case here if that douchebag Boy Abunda said something like on the show...

wala ko ni ask og permission pero wala man pud ko nanaway sa uban nga nang grab ra pud og pics. ang uban man gud kusog kaayo mu sulti nga bati na, bati ni pero utro pud diay ang binuhatan. bisan gigamit na for profit or wala pero matod pa "the end does not justify the means". plus if you really want people nga mu ask og permission first before using your images in the internet, you can place restrictions para ana. if wala aw mahug ra nag free for all unless kung copyrighted na imong images. kung copyrighted iyang images, aw pwedi siya mo file og case pero kung wala, aw walay ma hems. pero murag wala may copyright to iyang pics unya wala niya butangi og restrictions nga dili ma copy, so free for all ra to.

bro, i understand that if restricted ang images or content then that is illegal to copy it but you might have missed something on the first post. ill quote it for you so that you will understand why my opinions are like that...

Then my doubts turned into anger. Three photos from my blog appeared one after the other. What made it worse is that the photos were zoomed so close that the watermarks can no longer be seen on television.

So okay, I waited until the show finally run its end credits. No mention of my blog. There was no acknowledgment from my blog, or just even my name. Nada, Zilch.

i guess if you put your watermarks on your photos, that means you have the exlusive rights for it, right? then this blogger has the right to be credited or acknowledged in some way.

Karon psad ko ani da nga asta avatar on a forum icompare ug uncredited national tv photographs. If gusto gyud ka magpakasweto and discuss legalities of forum avatar pics then start your own thread ana para ma discuss.

if the author intended that his pictures will not be copied/reposted/downloaded or whatever.. then iya ta g block ang pagpacopy... the fact that he posted it without any precautions meant that its ok for the people to get it... so whats the big issue here?? im doing it.. i honestly do like getting pictures from the net.. and using it as samples.. do i need to give credit to the author when its free?? its not about respect... ur not stealing anything thats free.. akoa lng pod ni opinion
