Why Life is so cruel?

Life is not cruel oi.
Life is fair.
If you learn to see the big picture.

We only see life in one lifetime (which is just a small part of the picture), that is why we think that life is cruel.

For example:
You are now a child of a broken family.
You think that life is not fair
because, other children's family are "buo" and yours are not.

But if you believe in reincarnation,
you can probably assume
that your life now is like that
because,
you too, left your children and your wife in the previous life.
And the only way that you can learn the lesson
is to punish you
with that same situation you put your children into.

(So that is why I'm here answering these questions to try to show people the "big picture").
