Plus, it will really hamper the free flow of traffic especially in an urban center dominated by four-wheeled vehicles. The case of Bangkok naman is different. Di pwedeng i-compare sa city nyo. Actually, you're giving your respective cities a bad image, with the way you guys are acting.

Why not just agree that both CDO and Davao are great places to live in Mindanao? Nganong kinahanglan man mudaog ang isa, tapos siraan daun ang isa? Unsa mo, grade 1? - If you are, go ahead. I'm just assuming you guys are educated enough. And, I'm assuming you're not politicians? So leave politics out of this.

Instead of bickering like kids, why not make posts that actually answer the topic on hand?
Tell people what is in Davao or in CDO - ayaw pud panamak sa pikas na city.
If you can post pictures of what's in your cities, fine. At least, those who haven't gone to Davao,
CDO or any other place in Mindanao would have pics to look at kung unsa jud ang place (and please, ayaw nang edited pics for crying out loud).

Lastly, READ and COMPREHEND what's posted by people; and POST clearly.

Of all the places in Mindanao, I could say Davao and CDO are in the top 2. I don't care about specific positions though, and I'm a true blue Dabawenyo. It would be great to see that Mindanao, as a whole, be developed. At the moment, it really does have a bad image (gyera diri, bomba didto - dili na bomba na xxx ako pasabot). To see 2 cities thriving to be attractive to the outside world is actually inspiring.

hala, wala jud kasabot ang uban...murag dili man lisud sabton ang akong posts. first, i only asked what/why since I was surprised about the story, and was looking for answers about it since I couldn't find anything that would explain Emano's side. for the sake of impartiality.

anyways, as what I said in my previous post...I researched on the said Emano Article that placed Davao in a bad light for investors...but...what I found was more interesting....so, did I say, the article I posted was the initially said Emano article? No...I think my post was pretty clear, that I said, what I found was MORE interesting.

heres my opinion on the matter...

Emano had all the freedom in the world not to share that info. Yes? I agree. And he chose not to share, and in my opinion that is his God-given right to do so. Does that sound selfish? probably, but again, he is free to do as he pleases...

but, the point we are missing here is that, how does that reflect on his CHARACTER? again, he chose to keep the info to himself...many reasons were offered, like safety for his family, friends, loved one, pets, whatnot, etc...ok, that's pretty valid. Very acceptable

BUT. The question here is, WHY, for the sake of friendly argument, did he divulge that info right AFTER the 3 cities were bombed? Ano yun? Aanhin pa ang damo kung patay na ang kabayo? The info was useful before, not after the incident. My opinion is, it's tantamount to kicking someone when he is already down, or, adding insult to injury...Mayor Emano was too late the hero...so, he should've just kept mum about it, since that's what he did from the start.

it's like telling someone I could've saved you but I chose not to, now your dead....This senseless apathy is the scourge of our country today. Many of us today choose the comforts of our homes, the comfy lazy boys and the clarity of the 50-inch LCD home theaters instead of going our of our ways to help, even with the simplest of things.
We can choose to act, choose to be the proverbial GOOD SAMARITAN, or we can choose not to. I guess we all know what Emano chose. I respect his freedom though, I can't say I was impressed with his choice. Peace to All!
