simply put (talking windows here) - NTFS is the default file system of new installations of windows. FAT 16/32 is the older system. NTFS - more efficient in hdd space utilization, security encryption capable, etc. FAT - less efficient in terms of hdd space utilization, no security, etc. the availability of FAT system in format is for compatibility purposes across other file system/OS. like for portable disks, flash drives, etc. i think these can't be formatted to NTFS. the choice of file systems comes into play mostly when ur system is multi OS. this is just a very simplistic explanation, better & thorough understanding about this can be found out there. google is ur friend.

Fat32 has the limitation of 4GB file size. Select NTFS when possible.

    Gay fight, can't relate.

    select NTFS

quick format - formats your drive quick ^^ bypass bad sector "bad" doesn't mark them as bad sectors, huhuhu, you will have problems in the future if you have a bad hardisk. It's not a warning, it's a curse.
