You just can not motivate yourself for the sake of others.
You can not live your life for the sake of the others.

    That would be a hell.
    Unless you are terminally ill.
Even then, you have to teach everybody else to let you go.
Before you teach yourself to let them go yourself.

You have to live life with joy and pride of your own self.
    You have to have dignity.
To motivate yourself is to challenge your self.

When Ninoy Aquino was dying with his hunger strike,
he received a letter from a priest(or a bishop) saying something like--
"To die is easy, to live is where the challenge lie". (or something like that).
Sorry I really forgot the line.
But the idea is Ninoy was presented with a new challenge.
Which is--- if he could live a life of significance.

You have to analyze your strengths and weaknesses
and decide what legacy would you like to live for your children and family.

Ninoy Aquino studied the options, his strengths and weaknesses and he realized that his courage was meant for something greater. He cannot die of any ailment, there is no honor there.
    He understood his purpose then.
Like, Jesus Christ, he have to sacrifice his own life so that his people's eyes will be opened to the evil of the Marcos' regime.

    That was his purpose.

You yourself should find your purpose.
Before you could understand why are you here.
You have to study your weaknesses and strengths.
You have to analyze the use of your special skills.
    What are they for?
Then start from there. Use every skill you have.
Use them to create your own legacy.

Thanks. I somehow believe almost the same, even if its hard.

    Yes.

I am a father of three brilliant kids.

I play powerchess with friends, on the afternoon.

I run a water refilling station.

I write and compose music once in a while.

    But I don't have a night life.

Never had the urge to go out at night.

    Tihik man gud ko.

I want to accumulate money not spend them.

We have all the right to do what we want.
Some people, specially Japanese people, make suicide an honorable way out of their predicament.

But our religion and beliefs teaches us that it is against God's will to kill and to take your own life.

But you are asking of "katungod".
Do we have the right to take our own life.

We don't have the right to take our own life or take the life of another
simply because it is not ours to take.

But if you really wanted to, you can.
Only that you have to be ready for the consequence.

As I have said, Earth life is just like school.
You can quit every time, but you have to pay the tuition in full.
Meaning quitting one lifetime has it's own consequence on your next life.
The next life could be twice as hard as the previous life, if you take your own life.
And before you get to your next life, you have to stay here for a while as a ghost.
Since you are not yet scheduled to return to God.

No we don't have the right to take our own life.
But we can choose to end it whenever we want.
Only there is a heavier consequence.
And I would not recommend it.
Whatever problem you are in, you are designed to win over it.
Be brave, and be a man, face your problem, solve it and learn from it.
