o pwede na bisan di sila pure-blooded pinoy basta lang pinoy citizen sila sa papel.
bahin anang pagtrain nga magsugod jud since sa bata pa, mao jud sakto jud ka. ang muscles man gud nato, kung gusto ta na mangandoy nga ma-olympic level ang atoang performance, kinahanglan jud na nga mga 3 or 4 or 5 years old pa magsugod na ug training. para jud optimal na ang performance sa body by the time sa olympics. ang muscular performance, i think mga 10 years ang window, gikan sa pagsugod hangtud nga ma-optimal jud ang performance. apan ang problema lang pud, walay budget sa training. di man gani ang pilipinas maka-afford ug hire ug topnotch coaches nga gikan sa russia or sa china. and another thing, pagkahoman sa olympic career sa pinoy athletes, inigka"tiguwang" na nila, and i don't mean tiguwang tiguwang, but rather, the age-appropriate retirement years of world-class level athletes, walay may financial incentive nga isa-ad sa gobyerno sa pilipinas. maayo unta nga once maka-gold, nya inig-retire, naay at least ba incentive, either coaching job or sports-physiology-teaching job, etc.

I believe that our nation is more and more "delapidated" than ever. fewer and fewer funds trickle down to our athletes as incentive. more money goes to the "head" of certain departments because they "need" it. It's always been a political arena here. baba ray puhunan nimu kung ganahan ka makakwarta.
