Who gets hired and work in a Call Center?

Hi! I'm new here and I was wondering if anyone of you guys know of a part time job here in Cebu other than working in a Call Center or Fast Food Chain. ESL would be good too.
I'd deeply appreciate your help.

On a side note, why are most call centers I know not offering part time jobs like peoplesupport. I wonder what's more lucrative for them?

most of the time they wont offer part time because the cost to hire and train you is too much. and training is usually 8hrs.

part time might be offered by small call centers and most of the time it will be sales related.

ako sad, let me have a say on this.

long before my graduation from nursing, i have already tried my best applying. back then the industry was pretty much lenient.

karon bitaw no, i have already applied over and over again. i have passed the pre screening and phone interviews but i always fail sa final interview and even when i go as a walk-in applicant. sometimes its pretty much discouraging kay professional nako ron but i still want to be hired as a call center agent. mao dyud ako gusto. been working as a nurse only for 6 mos. bad pa gyud sa ako records kay nigawas ko with a bad taste from my employer's mouth. forced resignation ko with just the issue of being late.

now that i am free from that torture, ako lang goal ron is to end up with a call center job. pero it seems di man ko madawat oi. wa man sad ko blema sa ako english. mao raman gud mass hiring ron. di gyud ti aw apply balik hospital kay gamay ra chances, unlike sa call center na maski daghan nag inilogay pero sige ang hiring which pretty much encouraging. pero mao sad lagi you get home emptyhanded. although i'm losing hope pero til now am not giving up my dream of being a call center personnel earning lumpsums.

. ACtually I have plans to aply in a call center. Its just my goal to earn those salary. lol
About me, Im still 19, stopped this sem, know a lil on english, addicted to my computer for a year now and knows the internet well.
So im just thinking to ask for your opinion, about any call center company, the way they're highring ,some advice maybe. Cuz I think other company's might just have those high standards in them. Now im asking, how possiblly can I be accepted. Im might need those opinions, sugestion you might give. anything' will be greatly appreciated hehe..

although there is some poetic justice in my situation...i found out that where i'm going, call center agents earn less than waiters, even laborers...sourgraping? i guess i am...but that wont matter in a few weeks anyway ; )
