a president's SONA cannot please everybody. besides, it is not "to please" but to report. if anybody wants to dispute a president's report, then by all means dispute by offering opinions from numbers, not hearsay.

All you need to do is open your eyes and look around, unless you are not living in pinas right now. People lining up for an NFA rice(bisag bahong okok ang bugas) is getting longer by the day, a lot of hungry people in every corner, a lot of criminals lurking around, a lot of jobless people, corruption here and there, not to mention the last survey which says more and more pinoy are getting hungry. It doesn't need a Nostradamos to predict our future.

People lining up for an NFA rice(bisag bahong okok ang bugas) is getting longer by the day, a lot of hungry people in every corner, a lot of criminals lurking around, a lot of jobless people, corruption here and there, not to mention the last survey which says more and more pinoy are getting hungry. It doesn't need a Nostradamos to predict our future.

let me just butt in. yes, we can always look around. there are people suffering but there are also not. There are those who get poorer but there are also who got wealthier. There are places that progressed, there are not.

People lining up at NFA are not just people who doesn't have money to buy other types like Ganador. Sometimes they take opportunity for the low price. and mind u, nice variety ang NFA ron. kanang bahong ok ok pasabot nimo mao nay pangilad sa ubang retailers.

and criminals? why that's the price of progress. even HK is notorious for their street crimes. Crminality is somehow proportional to population. The more people, the more crimes. and we need numbers for that.

Jobless people? how many? we need numbers people.

Corruption? we also need numbers. yes, we are one in the top list but they are all based on perception.

Unless we think positively of our future, even God can't help you. (even a few friends i have in the States can't surely say they have a bright future. It's all in the mind.)

and criminals? why that's the price of progress. even HK is notorious for their street crimes. Crminality is somehow proportional to population. The more people, the more crimes. and we need numbers for that

before you open your mouth, try to think first kay makaligis ka. not all your points are correct. i dont even think of myself as high and mighty, both of my feet are on the ground, not like some of the people who try to preach the right way of dealing with the situation here in our beloved country.

you just don't get it, my heart is with the people who work hard and yet never get the chance to improve their situation. they are even exploited, with low pay and high expectation from their employers. dawat na lang intawon bisag unsa trabaho kay walay arang-arang na makuha.
