it depends upon the situation... when the situation calls for it, it's better to tell nalang...
"kung dunay kayo, wlay aso nga matago".. would you wan't him/her to know it from somebody?
i think it's better that he/she will know it from you... and that would also measure how serious he/she to you...

for me.. i guess its better if wala mo gitago ... open kunohay inyo relationship.. he or she should know everythin about ur past... for example from a failed rel ka.. nya... to prevent d same thing.... u can tell the person d reasons why nag fail ang rel.... hehehhe..aw unsa ba? tama ba ko?
