Buying a new laptop computer

Hi there peepz... thanks for visiting this thread. I'm a student and I am planning to purchase a new laptop computer, I need ur help in choosing which brand to pick. I need a notebook computer that has a core 2 duo processor for school as well as for home entertainment like gaming, viewing movies, etc.

What I already did is that I went to computer shops here in Cebu most computer shops are selling the dual core computers not core 2 dou but there saying that there will be new products arrived. I was able to check the specs of the latest sony vaio computer is it okay? or do you have any other brands to recommend which is less expensive pero nice ang specs. ug asa nga computer shop na makita?

ganina did2 ko sa SM nya tan-aw ko sa Asus M50 sv, nindot kaau oi. basin mao na akong paliton tag 59, 950 man parehas ra sa sony vaio pero ang kanindot niya kay naay nvidia nga video card ug dako sad ug ram. tan -aw sad ko sa mac book pero makainstall ba kaha ta ug windows program sa mac nga para windows programmer man ko ug i used windows programs para sad edit ug videos, pics ug 3d's
