I've been roaming around in the mindanao last year when I have worked for their preventive maintenance in the bank branches... For me its very difficult to walkby there coz sometimes people were staring at you. The worst i've ever been was in cotabato city(Land trip frm dvo) where people stayed there house at early 8pm. Its very scary there... Even though you have been surrounded by military post camps, still you feel like somethings will happen.... What i do is to feel like you were not stranger...

Hello! How do you know the people are staying in there houses at 8pm? maybe you just dont know where people go at that time of the day. There arent that much establishments to hang.out that is why it seems the city is very scary, for you that is. People tend to stare even here in cebu, mas grabe pa nga in fact. I grew up in Cotabs and havnt experience getting robbed, here in cebu? well read the papers and youll know what im talking about. Davao and CDO are booming cities and houses the best bars ive been to. f you want to experience the best of what a place has to offer, you get the service of a local who can probably tour you around anytime of the day. peace!

What I mean is, I am comparing to other places like zamboanga ipil surigao tandag kidapawan,and others also. But they are differ FOR ME.. Bro, I'm not comparing to cebu...Of course cebu is already established... And I know what different crimes is...

@myx_it wala ko niingon na nicompare ka sa cebu all im saying is that based on what you said mangud, as i understand it lang ha, makahadluk ang place kay mgStare nimo and all, so ingon ko mgstare manjud cguro ang tawo even here sa cebu i mentioned cebu kay naa manta dri cebu, naa ba ka here sa cebu? mgWork ka at night? so wala ka kaLaag diay sa night mao kaingon ka stay sila sa hauz? And pre ive been to Zambo, Ipil's mayor is my first cousin, been to Surigao and Tandag, and we're leaving now sa Kidapawan, and man i can assure you! mas mingaw man siguro ang Tandag sa Cotabato! or even Surigao city mgSirado na tanan even after 7 pa lang. Pero when i told my brod sa frat na unsa man ng Surigao oi mingaw kaau, he told me what i told you, if you want to enjoy the place, have someone, a local boy who knows the place to tour you around. :mrgreen:

But then again bro we define scary differently and im pretty sure you have different levels of what scary things as I do, so what is scary for you might not for be for me and vice versa. Anyways, if ill be in the vicinity whereever you are in mindanao holler and i might just know where to go around and see for ourselves if its really that scary :mrgreen:

been in mindanao for several times... and its not scary as what we've heard from the news maybe for some isolated area but not all... wen ur in mindanao u can truly appreaciate the beauty of nature and sus grabe the water there is so abundant barato kaayo.. and dat keeps me on coming bak there..

Yes, im residing here in cebu. I'm not a loner of what you think .. And I'm always hangout every weekend here. ngano gud tawon maka compare ko kng dli ko la-agan...It's not what you think here and maybe some parts of cebu.... I'd love to travel some place because of my curiousity... I hangout everytime I stop at night... DLi sb mingaw ang tandag oi... Nakasuway mn gani ko laag ngad2 gabie na pero ok mn gani...I'm not talking bout bars ha...I'm talking about the place... Nya sa surigao gani ngsuroy2x mi sa akong friend ngad2 mas daghan pa mn gani ug nightlife kaysa cotabato. That's what I did everytime I stop from different places...

ANd not the "STaring" is the big issue here from me.. Yeah im saying that coz that was true also coz sometimes people stares at you... And that's not what i scare for. As I said, that's what I experience in different places...Sorry if na hurt nko inyo place ha... It's not my intention bro... I'm speaking up based on my experience...

hehehe ok lang bro wala ko naHurt in fact wala naman ko kauli sa cotabato coz naa man mi hauz sa kidapawan so if uli ko kidapawan na lang ko dli nako lahus sa cotabato coz wala nasad ako mga barkada. Nakasulod ko ug bar sa tandag and my gudness hihihi ang mga babae ba grbe jud makasulti lagi ka ug ambot oi! asa manka suroy sa surigao bai? by the way asa mansad ka kasuroy sa cotabato?

theres no war in the cities naa ra na sya sa bukid2. ang kanang mga camp rajamuda and camp abubakar naa man na sya sa bukirang dapit ang naa sa mga cities, mga usual lang gud pusil, dungab (fyi ive been stabbed once when i was 16 yrs old sa cotabato), mga robberies ug uban pang katalagman, sama sa bukbuk ug agay.ay!

davao is very safe, even if you go out at night alone you won't feel scared
