OT: unsa diay imong trabaho sa Adelaide? Been there once. Ride bike along "Linear Park" up to Adelaide hills and back to the sea. I like the express bus highway, it's unique, akin to a railway, only that bus is running not train.

The terrain in Adelaide reminds me of CDO. i.e. from the sea looking towards the city proper you can see the hills in the background. And the distance from the shore to the foothills is almost the same as CDO, maybe Adelaide is a bit longer, but almost the same.

bisayadakoo, i clipped you msg msyado mahaba...anyway, your post smacks of malice or even bitterness...why do you have to post all these negative things? what is your motive? because, you could post negative things about ANY thing and just leave it as that...example, I could post why it's bad to live in CDO, and just leave it as that...again, how would it look like? lahat ng mga lugar/living styles has negative sides...sa mga posh suburds, meron ding negative sides...you think fires don't happen in posh subdivisions? or, or there are no swimming pools or gyms in their clubhouse? you think walang mistresses na binabahay sa suburbs?

I always point out that those problems is unlikely to happen (except pool/gym) in a suburban living.
I rather do whitewater kayak sa CDO rapids than going to a pool or gym.

1) walay gapuyo above you sa freestanding house.
2) walay gapuyo below you sa freestanding house.
3) ang next door siligan nimo is at least 2 meters offset to your house.
4) no sewer leaks above you kay walay apartment above you
5) walay flooding from the tenant above you.
6) punk rock drummer is at least 2 meters of house spacing. and you can put a fencing if needed.
7) dili ka mabalaka kay walay may modagkot ug kalayo below you.
8 kung sunog, maka-ambak ka sa bintana easily compared to a condo.
9 ug uban pa.

If you insist you can enumerate ang negatives sa suburban living here.
No one is going to stop you from doing that.

like you i was telling the truth as a cgayanon myself living here in cagayan city. and i could not believe what am seeing here to what my townmates here were gloating about the true state of urbanity here. i almost fainted when terrymag pushed me to accept she called reality, cdo will become a premier city for 2 non existent highrise towers. so *****ic. she wanted me to accept illogical reality. she was asked by davao forumers of her basis, she just meesed up with no solid facts to support. lets admit our cdo city is too good to be true. our small city is very chaotic and not well kept.

*mt lofty summit in the hills reminds me more of davao citys ?hilltop. gives spectaular 180 deg view of cbd and surround. and for dining and coofee dates

Linear Park is part of the bike path along the River (from shoreline towards the hills). That River that passes the Uni. The shoreline end is Henley? Was it Henley? can't remember. t'was in 2004.

thats torrens river. bikelanes all the way up tee tree gulley. diked by sewerage treatment facolity that you can see bit further downstream west of victoria bridge. thats what it becomes a little lake you can see at elders park where festival centres and convention centre are. you still have good memory. how old are you j/k btw the bikelanes follws the river all the way to westbeach
