questions to our muslim brothers here....

do muslims recognize the old testament books and its teachings? some muslim says OT is corrupted but a few books are not. if you believe this, what particular books in the OT are these? (meaning not corrupted).

what do you think of Quran Alone believers? (just like Scriptures/Bible Alone believers) they dont believe on the hadiths and the teachings of established muslim imams and its traditions.

btw, if you may ask, i am a pure bible-believing Christian. some say sola scriptura believer.

We say that there are some truths contain in the old testament.

We say its corrupted because it is and there are evidence for that. Only the original was not corrupted.

before i hate Muslims but when i met a friend who is muslim i change my point of views about them... they are good and kind they stand with there rights...but people see them as terrorist or bad people... louy kaau ang uban cuz even they are good they are mistakenly branded as bad..

asalam alaikum sadiq. shokran jazeelan for answering my question about sufism. i'm just interested in the mystical and the occult side of things. i, for one, believe that there were muslims of ancient times who practiced what would deemed be "heretical" to fundamentalists. but they were good muslims who lived noble lives and helped forward some of the scientific advancement at that time. even some of the Templars respected the wisdom and knowledge of some of the Hashashin. and vice versa.

although both of our religions had their fair share of shameful things, but if only we could in just one single moment of time, actually live in peace, then all will be well.

recognize means accepts and believes. i heard a lot of muslim's believe some old testament books like the books of psalms for one. as a muslim do you believe this too?

what part in the OT which does have truths? how about the Torah? why is it not followed and obeyed by muslims. Torah was given by moses considered your prophet in the Quran.

Quran alone believer are well hated by established sunni or shiite muslims because they disown and discredit traditions from the hadiths and other sources. how do you trait such kind of belief?

btw, are you normal muslim filipino from the sunni faith? are you a convert to islam or just born to muslim parents?

I said we believe in the ORIGINAL Torah, Pslams,The Scroll of Abraham,The gospel of Jesus(pbuh).

what you have now as your Norm for your belief system is not the original manuscript and it contains a lot of inconsistencies, revisions even omissions,contradictions,questionable authorship and etc.

how can you determine what is original and the opposite aside from what the Quran or Hadith says? what part of the torah (commands and teachings) right now is the original? if you believe the gospel of Jesus, do you believe when He said, I am the truth, the way and the life and no one comes to the Father but but me? if not, what part of the current Gospel teaching is original?

so you dont believe in the dead sea scrolls? also, early new testament manuscripts/scrolls as early as the 66AD written Papyrus?

my question about the quran alone belief is, if it's acceptable to you if they dont believe the hadiths and all traditions? they claim that those hadiths are contradictory to the quran.

about the quran, do you believe it doesn't contradict from itself?

if you believe that your faith is from God, any personal questions is acceptable. dili man na very personal in any sense.
