read through everything. very informative. pero noh, truth is ngano di ko manabon sako buhok? kay grabe daghana sa mga pointless and endless questions, init sad kaayo ug part na sad nga naanad na nga di manabon. pero of course manabon ko if mangadji. ug nakasuway na sad ko atubangay nga giingnan nga

    my response

"bay, Muslim man ko. naa ko gibuhat nga lain nimo?"

I've heard statements such as "Muslims are evil", "I hate Muslims", "Muslims kill people all the time" said all the time. If I had my hijab on at the time, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't know how those people who said those were thinking. Fortunately though, once learning that I'm part of the religion that they hated, they seem to have a better view of Islam.

I admire you, Sir Malic, na makatubag ka sa mga pangutana dri, ako kay di pako confident sako itubag. Although I was born Muslim, that doesn't mean that I know everything about it. I'm still in the process of learning here.

akera: kamusta na ang balo-i bai. na-repair na ba ang bridge ? btw, tinood na naay mga instances na gipatay ang Christian na uyab sa isa ka Maranao na babaye. dili ni Islamic bai and considered na serious offense ni . i seriously doubt also if the ethnic Maranao law (kitab Meranao) allows this.

as for marriage between muslims and not-muslims..eng..eng..eng...

Islam forbids the marriage of a muslim to a 'non-believer'. Islam places distinction between non-believers and the 'people of the book' (Jews and Christians).

alam nyo ba ang definition ng word "muslim" ? it means "one who submits to God". cge daw be technical about this daw. lubai gyud ning word sa panghuna-huna..susihi gyud. so tama na ang girian ha...peace

abi nako nga perfecto ang koran. ug segurado ka, malic, regarding anang imong gi-refer nga satanic verses although, you differently term them as such? last time i heard, iran's mullahs issued a fatwah against salman rushdie for writing the "satanic verses" novel. basin maunay ka.

anyway, unsang klaseha sa relihiyon man nang inyo nga naa may commandments nga inherently evil?

and please, stop citing examples that you ascribe to fundamentalist christianity. stand by your own account. not all non-muslims are christians, much less fundamentalist christians. (kun mangita ka ug fundamentalist diri, kamong rcruman pag-lantugi. lingaw kaayo mo tingali paminawon mag-lantugi ni rcruman ug iyang mga hinanib nga mga tawo ni eli soriano. he he he)

christians have stopped killing people in the name of god centuries ago. on the other hand, islam seems to feed on carnage.

just asking questions, sir. i'm not against muslims. i'm against any religion's evil teachings.

reminds me that again, tomorrow, i will have a business meeting with muslim colleagues - the non-pedagogue kind, unlike malic here.

p.s. don't addle your brain some more and try to associate me with a particular religion. that's too myopic a view, which i'm not too surprised with coming from you. i'm religion-neutral.

psst kalma lang sir. Haha pedagogue, whatever suits you. you can even call me EVIL. LOLZ

LOLZ

    Satanic verses?

my myopic view? LOLZ are you talking about yourself sir?

Wa jud ko maglikay likay anang sugo sa koran sir. Basta naa lang sa context sa Koran. Pero Terrorism wa man na sa koran sir.

    maunay ba oi? LOLZ ka.

Lisoda nimo pasabton sir noh. ka pila nako balik balik anang "klling in the name of God". so again kanang mga christian karun nga mga kawatan nag cgeg pangawat boot pasabot nga kawatan pod ka?

    Mashallah! Alhumdullilah!

    Thank you sis.

Actually my intention for this thread is to give some informations about Islam. I am not really into debating inside sa mga forums but LIVE,yes i can do that. I am trained for that.

The reason also i posted a link titled "Muslim Jesus" is para naa pod idea ang atong mga igsoong krsityano kung unsa ang tan-aw nato ni Issa(jesus) allayhi salam. No intention to create friction. Just explaning by the help of a good documentary video, who Jesus is to us Muslims.

A word of comfort sis, EDUCATED people dont say those kind of things to any muslims. you know why? because they know how to distinguish people, and they are very discerning.

take for example...Mahatma Ghandi, the man who shaped "The free India"...this is what He said...

" Mahatma Gandhi, speaking on the character of Muhammad, (pbuh) says in (Young India):

"I wanted to know the best of one who holds today's undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind....I became more than convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to this friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the 2nd volume (of the Prophet's biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of the great life."

A man like Ghandi, who is willing to die for India,a man of deep thoughts,a man of dignity, a man of PEACE...praise Our Prophet Muhammad.

between this Muslim-haters and The Great Soul Ghandi, Ghandi's words have more weight.

and also dont forget what Playwright George Bernard Shaw said...

The Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw, though an atheist, said:
"I have always held the religion of Muhammad in high estimation because of its wonderful vitality. It is the only religion which appears to me to possess that assimilating capacity to the changing phase of existence which can make itself appeal to every age. I have studied him - the wonderful man and in my opinion far from being an anti-Christ, he must be called the Saviour of Humanity. I believe that if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring it the much needed peace and happiness: I have prophesied about the faith of Muhammad that it would be acceptable to the Europe of tomorrow as it is beginning to be acceptable to the Europe of today

"If any religion has a chance of conquering England ,nay Europe, within the next hundred years, that religion is Islam."

    concerning Muhammad(pbuh) he also said...

"Hewas by far the most remarkable man that ever set foot on this earth. He preached a religion, founded a state, built a nation, laid down a moral code, initiated numerous social and political reforms, established a powerful and dynamic society to practice and represent his teachings and completely revolutionized the worlds of human thought and behavior for all times to come"

these are great minds Ghandi and Shaw.

questions to our muslim brothers here....

do muslims recognize the old testament books and its teachings? some muslim says OT is corrupted but a few books are not. if you believe this, what particular books in the OT are these? (meaning not corrupted).

what do you think of Quran Alone believers? (just like Scriptures/Bible Alone believers) they dont believe on the hadiths and the teachings of established muslim imams and its traditions.

    thanks!

btw, if you may ask, i am a pure bible-believing Christian. some say sola scriptura believer.

    cheers!
