Mga Computer guros pls help me with my GPU problem

I'm using a GPU Inno3D 7300 GT in my XPSP2 OS for about two years already until it hanged while I was playing Neverwinter Nights 2. I restarted my PC and noticed in the screen where you're supposed to see the "Windows" and dotted bar (loading) screen, the color was already different and then the screen turned blank (black).

I ran from a safemode and the graphics where ok, i can even access and use my OS. I remove my GPU from the system unit and examined it, there were no broken parts, i also sniff to know if a component was burned, but i could not detect any smell of burnt component. Is it time to change my GPU?

Check daw if nagtuyok pa imo VGA cooler. Or basin dili makaapas sa pagcool ang cooler. Could also be nga bati ang airflow sa imo PC. Sometimes kung bago pa nahitabo ang symptoms, matabang pa, but if cge na nimo gamit while ingon ana nga state, then youll have to change it.

hmm it hanged? and during normal boot... strange colors.... seems like something is in your card... did you try reinstalling your Video card drivers??

drivers are loaded during boot up of xp, so something to connect with....

if you cant use normal OS mode, safe mode should be fine.....

tip: DON'T overwrite the new driver to an existing driver installation.... you have to uninstall first the OLD installation... download a new fresh driver from Welcome to NVIDIA - World Leader in Visual Computing Technologies and install it clean....

ive only experienced having weird colors in the screen when my monitor and my videocard has a loose contact. pero naay times na na-loose contact pud ang videocard then naay mga weird colors.

so yeah, the guys above might have the correct answer. pero i would choose the airflow issue. ive experienced this problem too. consecutive hours of gaming where your system unit doesnt have a good airflow can be hazardous to your videocard. just a suggestion, try playing the game in consecutive hours with the system unit cover removed. then see the results.

Sir, I clean and check my system unit every two weeks, my GPU fan works fine and airflow is ok. I used Intel desktop utilities and the temp and fan speed are within normal levels.

Its a very good suggestion, sir. I will try it. for now, I removed my GPU from my mobo and I've been missing my beloved games!

ahh. nakaprobe na diay? yea, try nalang kad2 reinstalling the driver. Basin nacorrupt ra.

Try kuno clearing the BIOS. That might help.

lahi tong ako bai. consecutive hours of gaming with no hangs but then restarts for like 8 hours. i placed a room thermometer in my system unit for i will observe it and its was hot as hell. but removing the case cover lessens the heat inside the unit thus extending the system unit uptime because of the lower temperatures.

pwede naman tingali ko magluto ug sunny-side up na itlog sa akong system unit ato nga kainit. haha
