Default Old school music?? or new school music!?

But, if you asked me which decade of the last century I'd like to be a musician in it'd be the 1970's.

My tone and licks are influenced by Hendrix, Plant and Ritchie Blackmore.

Ask Glassmoon, who knows my technique and style better than anyone. Everything, from my choice in effects - I only use a wah wah pedal and distortion - to my blues-based rock guitar style are hopelessly 70's era.

And more importantly, when I select bandmates, I always quiz them on their knowledge of 70's music - from rock, soul to funk.

If a drummer says he likes Steve Gadd or John Bonham, and shows that he studies their APPROACH, and not only their technique, he's in. If he tells me his idol is the dude from Limp Bizkit, he will not get a call from me.

Carlo, EZRA, Glassmoon: it seems that you guys dig the same music as me! Though im not into playing some instruments, pero i know who are those musicians who knows how to play their rtespective instruments.

Maybe we could share some of our cds basin diay naa koy mga music in my collection nga gipangita ninyo and naa pod moy collection nga gipangita nako.

guys have you ever notice this guitarist named Ritchie Kotzen? Ive observe na everytime he joins or plans to join a band, mulaos gyud dayon! First, he join Poison in their album Native Tongue. Though nindot ang album pero nilaos dayon ang Poison. Next, he joined Mr. Big in their album Get Over It. Look what happened to them now. Next stop, he was supposed to join Axl Rose's new GNR in their still unreleased (na released na ba?) album Chinese Democracy, pero tan awa unsay nahitabo. Is he a jinx or maybe nga wrong time and place gyud sya?

and Ryan, please dont say anything about MR. BIG. as what EZRA and smoke says: MR.Big is nothing to say but GREAT having the legendary bassist in their arsenal.

Actually, your logic regarding Ritchie Kotzen is reversed. Ritchie Kotzen joins that band as they're on the way down, not that he's the reason for their demise.
