mag pa ilis ug bulb para mas hayag imong dalan.

Dili man cguro ni cla deterent for crime bro, pero ni fall sa letter "D" guideline.

"modifying original designs" describes the "legal" issues. it means:

(1) ayaw ilisi ug racer-type ug saba nga trambotso,
(2) don't change color,
(3) ayaw tangtanga ang side mirrors,
(4) don't use HID bulbs,
(5) don't make it into "skeleton" body

all these are illegal.

meanwhile, changing the wheels from stock to something more fancier does not "illegally" modify the design. changing also the horn to a more louder one does not, but there is a limit to what is required for a motorcycle. changing to a brighter headlight bulb does not also, unless u wanted an HID which is already banned for all vehicles including cars...

Guidelines are only there to "guide" you. All the rest is common sense...

just like the helmet. why use a bicycle helmet when u r driving a motorcycle?

Tricycle are under D , in which a motorcycle is not intended to have a sidecar...it even stated in the user manual...

The guidelines should be a little more specific so as not to create confusion among motorists. Dili kay kamo na bahala sa inyo common sense.

I got this from the blog posted above, and from here is where i based my first response on this thread.

A significant number of bikers have been apprehended all over the metro for the following reasons:

1. Changing of the headlight assembly to an aftermarket design
2. Changing of the rear shock absorbers
3. Changing of the original rims to aluminum magwheels
4. Changing of the tires to wider and better compounds
5. Changing of the footpegs to aftermarket rearsets
6. Changing of the light bulbs to brighter brands
7. Changing of the front wheel fairings to an aftermarket design
8. Changing of the brake discs to a larger diameter for more accurate braking
