a was blinded with the truth so i changed religion. daghan kaayo mga teachings sa katoliko nga unbiblical. daghan moingon pareha ra tanan religion, sayop gyod na nga pagtuo, accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour, then you will see the truth...

Actually kon basahon gyod nimo ang bible daghan jod ka makita nga mga practices sa ubang church nga wala sa bible, problem is maski unsa paka nga sect bible jod na ato basis. Daghan man moingon, adto ta didto kay maayo didto kay naa tay kagawasan, di ta dinha kay bawal diha inom, sigarelyo ug sugal.......given all these bawals.....di ba mas maayo hinoon ni? Kon susihon nimo ang mga teaching sa born again x'tians wa man kay makita nga will make you bad. For instance kining graven images, i used to vow before them sauna, sa amo parokya b4, gikawat bitaw na.....kon imo hunahunaon, ako idol gikawat, meaning to say ni worship ka sa usa ka butang kay kon tawo pana kidnap man, the same na ka ana sa nag worship sa elepante , sa bitoon, botelya sa coke....etc. nganong di man hinoon ka mo worship anang dili jod makawat.

me, i was born catholic, my family are all catholic.... however due to some circumstances nga dili mapugngan i will need to change religion by next year. as of the moment im still studying my new religion..so far daghan ko nakat onan....

question, dhongskee...does the Divine Being you worship has a physical manifestation?
The Catholic faith does not encourage worshipping rebultos
It is the emodiment of the certain symbol may it be in the form of statue, picture, whatever
that is being revered when people pray in front of that symbol
just like when you look at the picture of your loved one na nasa ibang bansa
...and talk to that person as if she/he is in front of you...

admittedly, daghan sa mga catholics...esp the ones who just accept faith and dont process
or try to understand it...may have a misconception about a certain rebulto
having mystical significance to their faith
ang actual role talaga nito is to direct the intent of a certain prayer
by having a symbol in front of you...helping you to grasp a concept of God in your mind while praying
of course, im not saying it's a necessity for prayer...but walang mali rin naman dun
it's not idolatry...iba un...idolatry is worshipping another being
like the bull na ginawa ng mga israelites habang naghihintay kay Moses
the golden bull statue is everything that embodies not the GOD who delivered them from Egypt
which is an utter defiance to God...
example lang un....just to point out the difference between the Catholic faith and being idolatrous.

In essence, meron naman talagang physical manifestation ng omnipotent God
Tayo...that's why i believe in revering the Divine manifestation in each individual
