Sa ako lang, if it's a good thing, something is better than nothing. Here is part of my previous post regarding the Sabbath:



It's not Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, because we count our days beginning midnight. The Jews, whom Sabbath comes from, count their days beginning sunset.

nice about counting days..

you have any proof from the Bible that counting of days should start at midnight?
im sure none. so who made which is not Biblical?

even in the beginning God has givin us already which to follow but unfortunately man changed it.

we SDAs observe the changes of days from sunset to sunset which is Biblical.
that's why, 6pm in the afternoon its another day to us.
we start observing the Sabbath every friday 6pm and end 6pm the next day.
and our Sabbath observance is not only an hour but the whole day as what the Bible stated.

Exodus 20:8 - Remember the Sabbath day to keep it Holy.

whole day not an hour or two.

Man had a reason to count days until midnight. Science would explain it. God only counted in the ways the people back then counted.

If God started talking about midnight as the start of the day would the people understand it back then?

If God started talking about cars then would the people understand it?

God took into consideration the culture then and now.

That's great you stood up for your church. Not everyone is so brave.

The counting of time need not be a biblical issue, since it involves everyone, including non-Christians.
