proper way to pee in male muslim?

Actually, I just wondering the experienced I had last Friday. Me and my friend just transferred accommodation and we noticed that most of our residing room neighbors were all pakistan's(muslim).
When I took a pee in the toilet, sympre pinoy! I've just poured my urine in bowl with open door. Eventually, there was a pakistani guy having his tooth wash and as I done my pee I came out to the
toilet, then suddenly, this pakistani guy spoke up and said to me "my friend why are standing during your pee?. you should sit down".. It took me a pause and wonder! and I told him, why is there an issue with that?.. and I walked away..

Do muslim's should sit while urinating??.. Why?.. well, if someone can answer, it will be pleasure..

Para siguro ma sure nga ma sulod jud ang ihi sa bowl, dili ma wisik wisik sa kilid. Basin culture to nila sa ila nasud bro, nothing to do with religion.

when you pee standing the liquid tends to splash everywhere. You are in a country where there are practicing muslims and they pee sitting down. It would be unclean for them to sit on a place where someone else's urine is present.


Muslims pee sitting down for ethical purposes. Its also healthier to pee sitting down.When you sit you put pressure on the bladder which helps it to empty more completely and you dont get to touch something too,hehe.

After 9/11 its understandable that there's some animosity towards Islam but to discriminate and call muslims violent because of a few individuals is unfair. I mean what about the IRA? Nobody seems to criticize catholicism for their actions. I for one have muslim friends and they're pretty cool (to the point that they just laugh when I poke fun at them for missing out on the wonders of hamburgers and hotdogs).
