this is the reason why PBF turned down the fight with Margo..![]()
In my opinion, had the fight go the distance, pildi gihapon si Cotto. Yes, Cotto maybe more accurate than Margarito and landed cleaner punches pero that's not the only category that we have to look at. Di man puntosay ang professional boxing. Ang EFFECT sa punches matters a lot. Sige tuod kaigo si Margarito sa mga combo ni Cotto pero wa may effect iyang punches. Ngisihan raman... Whereas ang punches ni Margarito are HARDER and obviously has more teffect on Coto. This is the same argument with Pacquiao-Marquez II. Manny's punches had more effect on Marquez, although Marquez may be more accurate.
Anyway, I think the official judges agreed with me. The scorecards before the stoppage are as follows:
Moretti: 95-95
Roth: 96-94 for Margarito
Hamada: 96-94 for Margarito.

yeah, that was a classic, but wa ko sayangi nga nahugawan ang record ni Cotto. Unsaon man nimo nang perfect record without fighting the best? Cotto deserves his props in fighting Margarito. He had nothing to be ashamed of sa iyang performance ganina. He just got beat by the better man.
Margarito may have beaten Cotto, but that doesn't make him the best, yet. Pacman is still the best. Dugay ra kong bilib ni Margarito, about what he can do, but I can't rank him ahead of Pacquiao because Pacquiao is obviously the better boxer. They have one thing in common though, RELENTLESS. Way pahuway ang kontra..
