whenever we think of journey, we always associate it with Steve Perry..

take a look at Anne of Heart.. 20 years down the road, and she can still sing it as if she just introduced her songs yesterday....

and crab mentality is a different thing..
of course we'd be proud the guy is filipino.. we would be for every other Filipino who makes it big, but it doesn't mean they're perfect people because simply, they're people too...

if there's something everyone should know about dealing with fame, it's that they need to deal with the fact they can't please everyone, and with criticism, they need to be pulled back to the ground... it's not a personal attack against them.. it's to remind them to plan their feet on the ground...

there is nothing wrong with pointing out things that need improvement or pointing out faults..
it helps pull people back to the ground.. we're all people here...

wala man ko ni ingon na nanaway kos iyang talent or whatever... i just pointed out the fact na he's filipino nya naay lain pinoy nag tagalog niya... we would all be expecting na mag tagalog siya since most his filipino fans (if not all) watching speak tagalog...

speaking of hardline bai, ayos btaw to nga album [double eclipse], sayang lang gyud nga adtong panahona nabuang na kog pearl jam ug alice mao nga mauwaw na ko maminaw of AOR. sunod sunod sa uso ba. lately lang [pagsulod ni arnel sa journey], ako gbalikan ug paminaw, ayos kaayo guitar ni neal schon, naa gyud siyay style nga mailhan dayon sa listener.

kana sad pagdegrade sa quality sa vocals, age is not a big factor siguro. examples of vocalists nga hangtud karn maau pa gihapon, dennis de young, tommy shaw, ann wilson, bisan gani c peter cetera ok pa man gihapon ila tingog after 30 years of singing. but steve perry is totally a different case...bisan gani sa iya mga interview pagaw na gyud.
