thanks alot for the encouragement,...u'r right, daugon nalang sa lens and filters...beside, if the one holding is born artistically/gifted hands, bsan unsa na cam iya siguro gamiton he/she can produce great subjects/photos...

naka order naman ko ug VR lens bai...and na surprise gani ko cz mahal man diay,tag 30k plus,ako raman gud mom sa states ako gisugo...pero saon naka order naman,heheheh..

I just discovered, aside sa self cleaning sa d60.... sa d40x, u can only use nikon lenses, not like d60, u can also use other brand of lenses.

third party lenses? pwede ang d40/d40x oi.. hehehe.. basta naai motor ang lens

If naa mo d40/d40x or d60, then try to find if naa mo kaila nga naa old Film Nikon SLR.. then hulami ang ilang lenses... itaod sa imong d40/d40x or d60.. and be surprised..
manual focus lang lagi, pero u get really cheap excellent quality glass...

adding AF-S 60 micro on your gear would be great + ring light.
