    Hahay, Nasabit man jud ko ani. One day, a group of DILG police came to my work place nya nagnita nako. kulbaan ko why. ang tuyo is one guy is claiming nga basin iyaha ning laptapa naa nako. nauwaw jud ko sa ako mga workmates ug customers liman ka nga gabitbit na ug posas ug pistola nga murag sure na jud kaau dakpon ko pero by the time nga gi check na sa guy ang laptop wala niya ma prove coz di man mao ang service tag so wala jud ni match iyang password. still ni insist ghapon nga iya basin kuno giilisan ang tag nya gi remove ang sticker, but we know already nga di jud na masayonsayon. mangayo ba gud intawn ko tabang diri if kaya ba nako to. i know the risk of posting it but didnt expect lang nga in ato na diay, wala man lang interogation before ni take sila action. nya anag naka pait, wala jud nangayo dispensa sa panghitabo. Haay, life.

    as a word of caution to service technicians, do not service anything that u suspect is something fishy with item. Notebook or cellfones or PDA. If u service this, the more they will encourage to victimize more people. I myself wont do that, even though its a loss of a potential income.

    and allowed him to use his password. That is the only way to prove ownership and also the service tag.

    sakto gyud to imong gibuhat. match the service tag and password. naay man gud uban lang pataka lang ug angkon....

    Just like a stolen cellphone the owner will have all the documents with him to prove that its his/her property.

    if not they can not do anything about it...

    For computer techinician you will know if its fishy or not....

    if you are asked to retrieve passwords that is already a sign something is wrong...
