Guys, how do i maximize the performance of my Vid card. i have a P4, 1gb pc400 ram, 256 mb Geforce4 6800GT by BFG but my nba live 2005 is still crappy when i turn on Anistrophic filtering.. is this normal? all other video details is on high. please let me know. and if you have suggestions, feel free to write it down! hope you could help. good day.
Hehe, hinay diay kayo ang NBA Live 2005 sa 6800GT.

    I suggest
Try setting your AF and AA to application preference.

I would go for tolstoi's suggestion... though you can also try downgrading your vid card drivers... (71.89<-->77.77)

Your vid card should be more than enough to handle high settings, especially on a game like NBA2K5... which really isn't that demanding on the system.. AFAIK.

Try also getting the latest patches on your game.. might help.

I think NBA 2005 the game itself doesen't use any AA or AF. Or it has its own
Distinct settings on this particular filter. So when you set it sa driver setting its like
forcing AA and AF setings on the game. More likely to cause conflict so its better
to set it to application preference so that the game will take control or can
    optimize properly your VC setting.

I bet NBA Live 2005 looks better when turning AA or AF to the applications
    prefference.

it looks better if you turn on aa/af
im currently using a Leadtek A6600gt (stock)
    AA=4x AF=8x
using DHzeropoint 78.03 beta optimized driver
    from www.driverheaven.net
    no problems so far
    super smooth.

just try reinstalling your VC driver
or downgrade it to an older version
    vice versa
    if that doesn't help
    check Vidcard temp first
    then reinstall win Xp
    that might help
    just a suggestion.

On mypart turning AF to AA as Application Preference is Also Super Smooth.

MAybe in Nvidia cards you need to turn on AF and AA so that it would be
smooth or you may need another kind of driver bro, or sa Imo nang monitor
lobog og quality. I've seen some 6600GT based cards on last lan party
very poor image and color quality sa mga display. NVIdia cards lacks
    sharpness in image quality.

WHile in ATI no need in turning it on because of its default 3d image quality
is very good very smooth already, just set in the game's maximum detail no need for
    AA or AF. No NEEED.
