nice setup sir, pero dili ko familiar sa PSU nimo? built in ba na sa casing nimo sir? if so, i wont recommend that you OC your rig with a generic PSU...get a good PSU before you try OCing...

as what a fellow istoryan said on a PSU Thread "
That's why it's vital to get a tough, stable, reliable, and worthy power supply for your system. Getting a cheap PSU is like letting a 5-year-old drive a McLaren F1!- by sir andz
    - Unsa CAS sa RAM nimo CL4 or CL5?

to be fair pagkalami i-OC imo proc....sulit kaayo...
also sayang imo ram kung 32bit ra imo OS...kung gusto ka ma-maximize imo 4gb na mem, get a 64bit OS...

nindot mana imo specs bai. only concern lng is imong PSU...

Q6600 is oveclockable, and so is ure mobo.

need to know ure RAM speed and ure HDD capacity. and also ure cpu cooler.

well sometimes swerte2 usahay ang trendsonic, make sure to check +12V and +5V Rails...(its your gamble)

anyway here are points to consider when OCing...

    try reading this article http://www.ocforums.com/showpost.php...38&postcount=1

CPU cooler - this is vital since OCing means more heat...without a good heatsink/fan basi nya masunog imo proc/mobo...

    RAM FSB

OCing tools, CPUz, OCCT,everest, hardware monitor, realtemp... (ma download ra ni sila sa internet...

Sakto sila @TS, imong PSU is not recommended for OC as well as true power rating. Get at least 700W PSU branded true power.

If youre using 32bit windows OS of 4GB RAM I think dili jud ma gamit ang tanan. Get at least 4GB if you're on 64bit OS to maximize performance.

change PSU una bai if mag OC ka hehehe mopiyok gyud na imoha psu kay di ka kaya although dili mopiyok ditso pero im sure mohatag nag problema sooner or later

unsai masuggest ninyo nga brand sa PSU?...

    unsai RAM FSB?

  9. #9
Silverstone, HEC, Gigabyte, coolermaster, antec etc.... basta dili generic ug naay tatak certified true power!

What you mean FSB? what you mean mah OC ka? if stock HSF imoha get an aftermarket cooler daghan baligya diha depende sa availability. There is a risk in OC when you just have a stock HSF.

There are two ways to improve performance.... Faster Hardware or Better Software

    Hardware

If you want the biggest bump in terms of perception of performance improvement... get a Solid State Drive (SSD).

Btw, unsa diay imong hard drive currently?

FOr me, ok naman imong system. Kung heavy gamer ka, imong videocard maoy makapahinay sa imong system.

If you're talking about tweaking performance unya don't want to spend....

    1. Try overclocking ur processor from 2.4Gghz to 3.2Ghz if makaya ba sa imong PSU.
If dili kaya 3.2Ghz, try lowering to mga 3.0Ghz if stable ba.

Though it is a good investment for future use, ask yourself if a brand new PSU is worth the extra performance you can get.

    Software

    2. OS nimo is Windows Vista... (maybe you would like to try Windows 7?)

    3. Optimize your system (defrag, delete/uninstall useless programs and disable services sa windows)... daghan tips ani sa internet... research lang. If sobra na ka cluttered and you think you have spyware slowing things down, you might also want to reformat and reinstall your O.S.

    Cheers.
