Let me point 3 names here in Istorya that seems very too overly confident about themselves..
Tackierlala,D'monyita and Omad...
I don't have a fight w/ them (nor picking a fight), but it seems that this peope want to impose some their own rules/opinions over others..
I am merely expressing my sentiments here. If this is Istorya, then we should be able to express our views (providing in the line of context/guidelines set by the mods) here.
Moderators are for me, the only people who can police any istoryans going beyond the limits. People who have afforded the status of CIA, Elite,Junior should always remember where they started before... - as Newbie.. In as such.. they should not impose their own authority over other people here in ISTORYA. (for the names I've mentioned above.)
up for INet!
ayaw lang cguro mention ug names bro oi kay character assassination na kaayo na... pwede ra man na nimo sila ma-PM anytime kung naa kay problema ana nilang 3...Let me point 3 names here in Istorya that seems very too overly confident about themselves..

There is no such thing as democracy in an internet forum--absolute control is held by those who own it, so unless you know the owners, or know who is in control, talking about things such as "rights" or "freedom" is downright ludicrous. Let me give you an analogy.
Suppose you were invited to visit a country ruled by a dictator. The people who invited you know the president of the country, but they aren't close friends. Now, while visiting that country, you can, to a certain extent, feel "free" and exercise whatever rights you feel you have--however, that doesn't mean that the country is "democratic"--for if someone sees what you're doing and disapproves of it, he/she can report you to the president (and his cronies and his military) of that country, and they declare you persona non grata, or worse, they decide to kill you (reminds me of "Last King of Scotland", the movie about Idi Amin).
iStorya is a privately-owned forum. It may appear public, but the moment you feel you have "rights" here is the first mistake you'd probably ever make. Thus, the only people who appear to exercise true freedom in the forum, is either the owners themselves, or people close to the owners.

Correction, the first mistake anyone will make is assuming they have any rights on the internet. Everywhere you go, you are subject to the will of other people with access to the hardware ... even iSTORYA. When you get on iSTORYA, we try to be benevolent dictators ... we don't try to be perfect ... we don't try to be mean bullies ... but it happens ... ultimately ... we are dictators nonetheless. This is not a democracy. People do not vote in mods and admins. This is not open source. This is not free as in beer.
rodsky seems to have a knack for long winded analogies which for the most part have nothing to do with the topic. People here talk about the general population of trolls 90% of the time and somehow it all comes down to the admins dealing down undeserved punishment from above.
Absolutely agree with the things pointed out in this post.
