The 4850 is neck in neck with 9800GTX. The 4850 outperforms a 9800gtx when turning on AA and AF.

4870 is comparable to GTX260 and sometimes faster than a GTX260 when turning on AA and AF.

kenshiro's right. if you were to a pick between a 8800 or 38x0, get a 48x0 instead. ^_^

last saturday i went to this commdap event in sm, I checked out the two game sattions in FU booth.
visually, i could compare the two.

ATi's card showed a much reacher graphics - (was that 3850 x2) than Nvidia's 8800.

Is ati better than Nvidia?

And you have just asked the million dollar question. Hehehe. Its like asking AMD or Intel.

I think its more on personal preference IF you are talking about real world experience BUT, if you wanna talk about benchmarks, then ATI leads with 4870.

Katung setup namu ngad2 wala to na configure ug tarung , the nvidia could have looked better. But ATI still would have more depth, images wise, for me.

Pero VGA (analog) raman to, it wouldve been nice to compare them using a DVI connection or HDMI connection

4870X2 is gonna kill GTX280..

4870X2 is powered with 1gig and 2 gig version.. ouch!

still nvidia for me.. just because there down doesnt mean ill change sides...

how i wish they change there architecture. its too old.
