Can anyone suggest how to make Vista recognize more than 4G of memory? What service packs or versions to use?

You need 64bit Vista.

The problem is this friend of mine already has Vista Home Edition, so is there a service pack that can help him? I introduced Linux x86_64 but some people are just too loyal to Windows.

it should be vista ultimate or premium that is 64 bit.....
no service pack will change vista home to 64 bit

so pila man jod recommended ram sa vista? i have 2gig ram sa laptop nako ok ba if upgrade ko 3gig?

im using windows vista ultimate 64 bit and i have 4 ddr800 2gig Memory all i do is i updated to Sp1 for my vista and my system recognize all my memory now im using 6gig Memory in all

Thanks for the info, I'll tell my friend to change to 64 bit version Vista.

kinahanglan jud 64bit ang vista ultimate? or pde ra ang 32bit version?
