Silence is the only language God speaks.
Everything else is a bad translation.

    actually bro, just to clarify...

some books were written in Aramaic (the language that Jesus used in His time)... some books in Hebrew (some books of the apostles) and Greek (particularly some books written by Paul to Greek cities or Roman cities) then compiled and translated to the most common language of the century (Latin, English) then to reach the farthest parts of the world is then translated to local languages (tagalog, bisaya, ilocano, ilonggo)

I think this is the timeline of the bible.. please do correct me if I'm wrong...

Basta tawo gani ang magtranslate or transcribe
naa gyuy posibilidad nga mausab ang original message
tungod kay kada tawo naay ilang kaugalingon nga bias or prejudice
nga makaapekto sa ilang interpretation sa bisan unsang gisuwat.

Usa pa sad nga dako kaayo nga factor
mao ang intelligence sa tawo nga nagtranscribe or nagtranslate.

Nakaduwa na ba mo og message relay?

nice question. though im not much of fan of the Bible, i think, i just think, that perhaps there is something missing in the present translation that is found in the original. anybody in theological hermeneutics or hermeneutics would tell you that in the interpretation of meaning, always consider the original.

Language is dynamic. it changes. what was meant sauna, may have no equivalence or may have different meaning karon.

but then again, its the bible. is meaning merely found in textual analysis, or is there something external, even transcendental that guides those who are willing to accept the Word to grasp the meaning of it.

    thats my take though.

but then again, we presume, that things have objective meaning. what if the meaning in things, religious or otherwise, is merely a social construct to make us all feel comfortable with things. no?
