So I gather that you've been
everywhere in the US and Europe and have observed
most, if not all Filipino nurses, to allow yourself to express such a comment?
And btw, I'm not sure if you got the point of the thread, so let me explain--the thread does not aim to ridicule nor praise anyone, kung nurses ba, or Filipino ba, or not. The point is this--I am
personally annoyed by paki-alameros and uzi-seros. I'm one of those individuals who likes to be left alone. However, after I read this news item, I was struck by and mused to myself nga probably (again, probably) if there was a pinoy nurse or health worker in that situation,
basin the general nature of pinoys to "know what's going on / what's the matter" could've called attention to the patient on the hospital floor. It even led to an extended scenario in my head nga, if I collapsed on a hospital floor in some strange foreign land, perhaps I'd wish nga naay "maki-alam" sa ako, rather than just ignore me. That was my aim, and my point. I hope it's clearer now.
