will the transport strike earlier this day give good results? or maybe it would fall into another publicity stint with all their demands unfulfilled?

... unfulfilled coz their demands are way off feasible. Fares will only be 7.00 not 8.50, that's according to my neighbour driver.

ang ila pag strike was not intended to stop the prices of gas to increase.. but instead.. they were asking for an fare increase.. or a subsidy from the government..

when na pod ang sunod strike?

subsidy, subsidy...mass transport system na lang run by a cooperative that's directly supervised by the LGUs of Metro Cebu...pwede bitaw mo-apply ang drivers ngadto para silay mo-drive sa electric jeeps (or whatever form of transportation ang pilion...pwede kalesa, horse-drawn tram, electric tram, buses)

ang jeepney operators? well, pwede sila moapil sa coop...but it would structured in such a way that the city government would be the one to call the shots (basically, ang 'stockholders' igo ra mobutang ug puhunan, ug magdawat ug part sa halin...pero ang responsible sa maintenance ug operations kay ang LGU)
