I have a question for all of you Cat holics...

Do you believe in Jesus Christ and have you accepted Him to be your personal Lord and Savior?

Answer me a Yes and No... no need for explanations... just a simple Yes or No and I will tell you, based on what is written on the bible if you are saved or not.... If you'll go to heaven or not...

Here's what I think about the Christian Faith based on what I read from the bible... Long before, there were already denominations or Lemans term "branches" of the Christian Faith, but their names were based on the places that they were in... this is clear on the Letters of Paul... He actually grouped them according to places and enumerated their focuses, their strengths and their weaknesses...


1 Corinthians 1

1Paul, called to be an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,
2To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ—their Lord and ours:

Which is kind of like what we have today... we have the Catholic Church which branches out to Roman Catholics, Eastern Orthodox Church, Independent Catholics, Liberal Catholics and Lutherans... same as the Born Again Christians which branched out Protestants to the Baptist, Adventist, Evangelical, Pentecostal and much more...

But we have to remember, where this all started... When Christ came down, showed us His love, died for your sins and rose in victory... as He rose to the heavens, that was also the birth of the Christian faith when He finally gave to the apostles the great commission to let the whole world know who Jesus is...

when you ask a Catholic if your a Christian or a Muslim, i think you know what your reply would be... you definitely say, I am a Christian, a member of the Catholic church, right?

I'm sorry if you seem offended by that. I didn't mean to judge you. I thought you are a Bible fundamentalist and whatever the Bible says, then mao na jud na. The command is very crystal clear, "love me more than your family". If you ask me, of course I will be doomed based on the Bible and I take no offense. But, I am not a Bible fundamentalist my faith is not based on the Bible alone, that is the big difference between our faith. Your Bible fundamentalism is the one actually judging you if you only realize that.

Did i say im a Bible fundamentalist? or you're just making it up just like anybody else here who is drawing conclusion to anybody. As i have said i am a sinner, im not perfect BUT i did accept Jesus Christ in my heart as my saviour, HE is the center of my life. I maybe hypocrite if i will only say i only love HIM. I love other people aside from Jesus, my family, my friends, and people who cares for me. I know Jesus Christ will understand that. If i were to ask, where i will go if i will die, of course i will reply automatically to HEAVEN. who wants to go to hell anyway.

and about that verse, its up to God to judge if i am doomed or not. HE is a merciful Father. i maybe be a sinner BUT i know im a good person. is it wrong to love your parents and siblings also?

Again, to clarify things, i am not a Bible fundamentalist. I was once a RC, but theres a lot of practices that i dont find in the Bible. I know the Bible, I know some verse BUT i am not well versed or expert when it comes to it. tell me who is a well versed person here about the Bible then i will listen to him.

Now, i will ask you, if you think it is crystal clear the verse you shared to me, how about the basic verse that i am always posting here, do you think it is more crystal clear? Here it is:

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." -- John 14:6

(Exodus 20:2–17):

I am the Lord thy God ,
who have brought thee out of the land of Egypt (Mizrahim), out of the house of bondage.

Thou shalt not have any other gods besides me

Isnt it more crystal clear to you? It is one of the basic commandments from God. Why are some people cant understand and dont follow that. Is it not clear to you guys?

If you are not a Bible fundamentalist wherein you dont base your own faith sa Bible alone, so can you site me where else? your leaders? your priest? and where they get those spiritual nourishments?
